2.2.1.7.Firewalls
(1) A firewall that separates a building or buildings with floor areas containing a Group G, Division 1 major occupancy
shall be constructed as a fire separation of noncombustible construction having a fire-resistance rating not less than 4 h.
(2) A firewall that separates a building or buildings with floor areas containing a Group G major occupancy and a
major occupancy prohibited by Article 2.2.1.2. shall be constructed as a fire separation of noncombustible construction
having a fire-resistance rating not less than 4 h.
(3) Firewalls shall conform to the requirements of Articles 3.1.10.1. and 3.1.10.3. to 3.1.10.7., and Sentence
3.1.10.2.(3).
