9.31.6.2.Equipment and Installation

(1) Every service water heater and its installation shall conform to Part 7. (2) Reserved (3) Where the building is in a location where the spectral response acceleration, Sa(0.2), is greater than 0.55, service water heaters shall be secured to the structure to resist overturning. (See Note A-9.31.6.2.(3))
