9.30.3.4.Staples

(1) Staples are permitted to be used to fasten wood strip flooring not more than 7.9 mm in thickness and not more than 50 mm in width provided the staples (a) are not less than 29 mm long, (b) have a shank diameter of not less than 1.19 mm, (c) have a crown of not less than 4.7 mm, and (d) are spaced not more than 400 mm o.c. (2) Staples are permitted to be used to fasten wood strip flooring not more than 19 mm in thickness and not more than 83 mm in width provided the staples (a) are not less than 51 mm long, (b) have a shank diameter of not less than 1.82 mm, (c) have a crown of not less than 12.7 mm, and (d) are spaced not more than 400 mm o.c.
