3.8.3.16A.Water-Bottle Filling Stations
(1) Where one or more water-bottle filling stations are provided at each location, at least one shall be equipped with
controls that
(a) activate automatically, or
(b) comply with Clause 3.8.1.5.(1)(c).
(2) Water-bottle filling stations required by Sentence (1) that are located in a storey where a barrier-free path of travel
is required shall
(a) be located along the barrier-free path of travel,
(b) have a clear floor space of 800 mm by 1 350 mm in front of them, (See Note A-3.8.3.16A.(2)(b))
(c) where they have frontal access, provide a knee clearance in accordance with Clause 3.8.3.11.(1)(c),
(d) be operable at a height of not more than 1 200 mm above the floor, and (See Note A-3.8.3.16A.(2)(d))
(e) be equipped with controls that
(i) activate automatically, or
(ii) comply with Sentence 3.8.1.5.(1).
