2.2.8.6.Gas Traps or Valves (See Note A-2.2.8.6.)
(1) Except as permitted by Sentence (2), where storage tanks for liquids capable of releasing hazardous gases or
vapours are connected to a farm building by a piping system, a gas trap or valve shall be installed in the piping system to
prevent such gases or vapours from entering the farm building.
(2) Where storage tanks for liquid manure are connected to a farm building by a piping system, a pull plug is permitted
to be installed in the piping system to prevent hazardous gases and vapours from entering the farm building.
