2.2.8.2.Exhaust Ventilation and Explosion Venting
(1) Except as provided in Sentence (3), an exhaust ventilation system designed in conformance with the appropriate
requirements of Section 2.4. shall be provided in a farm building or part of a farm building in which dust, fumes, gases,
vapours or other impurities or contaminants have the potential to create a fire or explosion hazard.
(2) Except as provided in Sentence (3), farm buildings shall comply with Sentence 3.3.1.21.(3).
(3) Farm buildings housing livestock with a below-floor storage area for liquid manure need not comply with Sentences
(1) and (2), provided they comply with Article 2.2.8.3. (See Note A-2.2.8.2.(3))
