2.2.3.5.Silencing of Alarm Signals

(1) The fire alarm system required by Sentence 2.2.3.1.(1) shall (a) be designed so that when an alarm signal is actuated, it cannot be silenced automatically before a period of time has elapsed that is not less than 20 min, and (b) not incorporate manual silencing switches other than those installed inside the fire alarm control unit.
