2.2.3.3.Design of Fire Alarm Systems
(1) Where a fire alarm system is required by Sentence 2.2.3.1.(1),
(a) the air-handling system, where provided, shall be designed to prevent the circulation of smoke upon a signal from a
duct-type smoke detector if the air-handling system serves more than 1 storey, and
(b) a manual station shall be installed in every floor area near every exit.
